    • Offsets and obstacle problems

    • Practice in chaining and ranging

    • Measurement of land areas using chains

    • Recording field data and note-taking

  3. Engineering Drawing – I

    • Geometrical construction

    • Orthographic projections

    • Lettering and dimensioning

    • Use of drawing instruments

  4. Workshop Science and Calculation – I

    • Units and conversion

    • Basic geometry and trigonometry

    • Area and volume calculations

Semester 2: Advanced Chain and Compass Surveying
