  • Fields of social work: Family, child welfare, medical, psychiatric, school, labor, correctional, etc.


Module 2: Sociology and Human Behavior

  • Basics of sociology

  • Social institutions: Family, religion, education, caste

  • Human growth and development

  • Behavioral theories and their relevance in social work


Module 3: Social Work Methods and Practices

  • Case Work

  • Group Work

  • Community Organization

  • Social Work Research

  • Social Action and Policy Advocacy


Module 4: Human Rights and Social Justice

  • Introduction to human rights

  • Indian Constitution and fundamental rights

  • Social issues: Poverty, gender inequality, caste discrimination, domestic violence

  • Government schemes and welfare programs


Module 5: Communication and Report Writing
