PERSONAL TRAINER COURSE

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Minimum: 10+2 pass (any stream)

    • Age Limit:

      • Minimum: 18 years

      • No upper age restriction


Syllabus 


Module 1: Introduction to Personal Training

  • Role and responsibilities of a personal trainer

  • Scope of practice and ethics

  • Client-trainer relationship management

  • Goal setting and motivational techniques


Module 2: Human Anatomy and Physiology

  • Skeletal and muscular system

  • Cardiovascular and respiratory system

  • Energy systems (aerobic vs anaerobic)

  • Joint movements and biomechanics


Module 3: Nutrition and Diet Planning

  • Macronutrients and micronutrients

  • Meal timing and portion control

  • Supplements and hydration

  • Creating diet plans for fitness goals (weight loss, muscle gain, etc.)


Module 4: Exercise Science and Techniques

  • Warm-up and cool-down

  • Resistance training (machines, free weights, bodyweight)

  • Cardiovascular training methods

  • Flexibility and mobility training

  • Correct form and injury prevention


Module 5: Fitness Assessment and Program Design

  • Health screening and risk assessment
